Let the record show right off the bat, there is a major disparity in the two photos above. We just couldn't find any better photos of goalie Hope Solo, but that doesn't mean we don't love her.

Logan Tom returns to the Olympics after appearing in the 2000 and 2004 Games, but also lands here in the Hottie Contest for the third consecutive time. Tom is kind of like Texas men's basketball, always a good pick to win it all, but always falls short. She's got talent, but runs into better competition down the stretch. She still looks good at 27 (what a dumb statement to make, she's an athlete! Not like she's going to be hot at 23 and ugly at 27) and when not playing Olympic volleyball is playing on the beach circuit.

As for Miss Solo, we all remember what happened to her during the Women's World Cup, calling out her coach for benching her in a crucial game against Brazil. Her off-the-field conduct could sway the voters, depending on what side of the fence you are on -- the "I like strong women who stand up for themselves" or the "You don't disrespect the coach" camp.
